Clean room with a nice AC. parking right outside was super convenient. Wi-Fi only works outside.

The room provided essential amenities, though not the

cleanest space. The owners are new and certainly trying hard to improve the motel’s condition. While the staff was friendly and accommodating during my stay, the lack of breakfast was a disappointment, impacting the overall experience.

The Standard Queen Room was clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom cleanliness needs serious attention.

Staying at the Scottish Inn was a mixed bag. The clean room with a fridge and a coffee maker really added convenience for us. Parking directly outside made it super easy for late-night unpacking. The mattress was firm and quite comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We enjoyed the nearby diner, which offered a fantastic all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet for just $5. However, I had to wait a while for hot water at the faucet, which was annoying. The lighting in the room was inadequate, particularly in the table area, making it hard to see sometimes. Though the owners seem dedicated to improving the place, there are significant maintenance issues, like the shower intermittently having cold water. Also, reports indicate traffic noise could disrupt sleep, which is something to consider. On balance, the good value for money makes it a place worth trying out, especially for short stays.

Had to change rooms because the TV wouldn’t connect to the satellite, which was a hassle. The new room was nice but the shower had issues with cold water, which was less than ideal. There were reports of run-down maintenance, with one guest noting wallpaper peeling and insufficient light outside the rooms, making it tricky to get in after dark.

We stayed for one night and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the Standard Double Room with Two Double Beds. The room had a fridge and microwave, which made our stay convenient. The newly opened diner nearby offered a fantastic all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet for just $5, making it a great deal for a quick meal.

The Standard Double Room was tidy, with newer fixtures enhancing the appeal. I appreciated the comfortable mattress, which provided good support. The owners are indeed trying hard to enhance the motel, and the friendly staff made my stay more enjoyable. Similar to other reviews, I found the staff accommodating, which added a positive touch.

Had a decent stay with comfy rooms equipped with a fridge and microwave, but the bathroom cleanliness was a bit off. Would I stay again? Maybe, but not my first choice.

The Standard Double Room with Two Double Beds was decent for the price. The mattress was good and firm, which I liked. It was clean with newer fixtures, but the lighting could be better since the table area was kind of dark. I had to wait for hot water, which was a bit annoying. I heard some traffic noise, but it didn’t keep me up. The view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was a nice bonus, though.
